1. Common Details
Admission to Engineering (and also MBBSIBDS) is made through a JCECE test to the following colleges:
(i) Birsa Agriculture University, Kanke, Ranchi
(ii) Rajendra Medical College, Ranchi
(iii) M.G.M. Medical College, Jamshedpur
(iv) Patliputra Medical College, Dhanbad
(v) B.LT., Sindri
(vi) R.I.T. Jamshedpur
(vii) Govt Women’s Polytechnic, Bokaro
(viii) Govt Polytechnic, Duka
(ix) Mining Institute, Kodarma
(x) Govt Polytechnic, Latehar
(xi) Govt Polytechnic, Dhanbad
(xii) Govt Polytechnic, Ranchi
2. Age Limit: The minimum age must be 17 years as on 31st December, in the year of examination.
3. Details and Forms: Obtainable by post by sending DD of requisite amount in favour of “Controller of Examination” JCECE Board, Payable at Ranchi, to the Principal, Government Polytechnic, Church Road, Ranchi-834001.
4. Last Date: The last date for receipt of completed Application Form is July at the Controller of Exam, JCECE Board 2001, Engineering Hostel, Near Goal Chakhar, Sector III, HEC, Dhuruva, Ranchi-834004.
