Kuselan is 2 hours, 30 minutes long.
Rajinikanth appears twenty minutes after the movie begins.
And remains through the length of the film, though not in every single frame.
In all he appears for a total of 60 minutes.
And in 3 rocking songs.
Kuselan is a fun filled 2 hours, 10 minutes with about 20 minutes given over to emotional drama.
There are no real fight sequences, only the ones staged for this movie within a movie.
It has two parallel stories about two friends – one rich, one poor.
The highlight of Kuselan: 6 punch dialogue sequence filled with comedy that will delight not just fans of Thalaivar but everyone in the audience.
Rajini usually has one stand-out line in every movie -here he takes that old saying, “Matha Pitha Guru Dheivam” and turns it into a new saying about the importance of freindship: “Matha Pitha Guru Nanban Dheivam”. We can bet that this is going to be a catchy line that all of us will be repeating soon.
For many of us who have been wondering a lot about Rajini’s political ambitions and his sojourns into the Himalayas, he answers us all in Kuselan with such wit and tact that it will silence us from speculating anymore!
As in Chandramuki, where the Superstar gave equal screen presence to Prabhu, Vadivelu and Joythika, here, in Kuselan, he has given importance to other actors sharing the screen with him.

Pasupathy is marvelous; perhaps his best performance to date.
Comedy by Vadivelu is top-notch, rivaling his performance in Chandramukhi.
Nayantara simply sizzles effortlessly, proving why she is the numero uno.
Arivind Krishna’s camera work is prefect, matching the mood of the movie .
This is a Thalaivar movie, and yet it is also something completely different!
Thalaivar’s style here as he plays himself reaches a new high.
You are in for a sumptuous Rajini treat.

In Malayalam, it was quite a good one as importance was given to Srinivasan. In Tamil, they have spoiled the movie by giving too much importance to Rajini.
Pasupathy is a very good actor and rajini fans have over shadowed his acting.
The above review is definitely a review by an out and out rajini fan. He says Rajini has given equal screen importance to prabhu and vadivelu. Actually, Pasupathy is the hero of the film. He has just finished with a single line about Pasupathy. This shows the attitude of rajini fans.
Rajni is a noble person. We will enjoy this movie with friends.
If Rajini does anything, he is a noble person. Just for the sake of fear of not getting return on investment, he went and apologised to Karnataka fans about his comment made on Hogenekal project. People still say that he is a noble person.
To please Tamil Nadu fans, he will make some comment in Tamilnadu and will apologise to Karnataka fans.
All this, he is doing only for his movie to be released in Karnataka. Here also, he is saying that he is doing this only to help his Bangalore fans not to miss his movie; whereas his real intention is to get maximum return on investment.
He should have better joined politics instead of doing politics from outside.

In this film real and super hero was pasupathy his acting is wondeful. During the climax he played his role amazing.

should not encourage movies like kuselan as it is only a money making sequence showing rajini there is no hard work or any much cost involved and they had earned 60 crore from the distributor and the distributor is exploiting youths to make more money.

Rajini, the poor fellow…we should stop talking about Rajini in politics. He is somehow still keeping the hopes alive in the people about his political arrival…In the first place he did not have to comment at all like that about the hogenakkal water story…then he came and apoligised…why all this> first of all why is the film industry involved in real life? Film is ‘reel’ life. So it should not get involved in ‘real’ life. Some one like rajni comes adn creates an emotional stuff against one language / people and the whole lot gett bitterly about each other. why cant they just do all their stunts and keep to themselves? Monkeys that play tricks on the road are for people to see and laugh. Thats how films are. Why bother them with more?

About ‘Kuselan’, there are so many others who play a part in the movie. Director P.Vasu made a big mess out of the beautiful malayalam film ‘katha parayumbol’. He spoiled the realism of the original version. I felt like watching a tamil movie that should have come in 1990s. That is what he did in the case of Chandramukhi also.
Mr.Vasu, u have a good taste of cinema. Sit in home and just watch them. Please dont try to remake them.

Kathaparayumpol is a good Movie. But is that Movie made this much Waves? From my view It HAVEN’T.
Next, Pasupathy Was a marvelous Actor. But without Rajini Kuselan will not be a Hit movie.

But Rajini Apologised bcoz they are making politics with his name. He was very brave to accept his Mistake. He clearly mentioned that the statement made by him should be “Kick the people who makes voilence in karnataka”. From this still u guys can understand he is not a Actor in his real life. We all know that Decision making was not so good and firm. Lets ask Thalaivar to work on that and get improved.

In this modern world, when people love Hrithik, Abishek who have only beauty to speak, it is very hard to retain/capture the minds of young people … superstar is very consistent in capturing our attention….
i watched KUselan 3 times as of now, i will watch another 2 times….
