Thane Bomb Blast : Atleast 5 Injured
At least 5 people have been injured, when a bomb of low intensity went off in the parking lot of Gadkari Rangaytan auditorium in Thane, where a controversial Marathi play, “Aamhi Paachpute” was being staged. The Marathi was play was earlier targeted by several organizations. The bomb was suspected to be planted on a bicycle in the parking lot.It could be recalled that some explosive materials were found inside Vishnudas Bhave auditorium in Vasi ahead of the IPL final, where the same play was being staged. Today’s blast is seen as a warning someone against the play. The special cell of the Mumbai police is investigating the matter.
